Children’s Sunday School
We are in a new Sunday School series for children. Sunday School meets right after worship.
P3Teens Middle School Youth Group
Our youth ministry for middle school students, the P3Teens, meets Sundays after worship. The group meets in the Youth Hut two Sundays each month, with some additional fun, and service events throughout the year. There will be a Sunday School program for middle schoolers on the Sundays that P3Teens do not meet. Thanks to Brian Saia for leading this group, and to Deb Herpel and Nancy Olson for their continuing commitment as teachers.
Thanks for your help with this ministry.
Family Promise is a ministry that addresses the needs of homeless families. It provides shelter, meals and services to help families get back on their feet. The “guest” home is at Concordia Lutheran Church 2185 Wood Street, at the corner of Wood St. and School Av.
We can participate by providing one week of meals to a family once per quarter. We can also have a rotation of volunteers stay with a family for one day per quarter. Thanks to Louise Morgan who coordinates our ministry with family Promise.
We Pray For Our Neighbors
Each week we send letters to five families in the neighborhood telling them that they will be in our prayers.
We recently received this note from one of our neighbors.
Dear Pastor Bill,
We think what you are doing is awesome. Letting people in the community know that someone is specifically praying for them ! What a great outreach! My husband and I are members of the Tabernacle Church on DeSoto Rd. I’ve been there since the age of six! My husband is in his second term on the Board of trustees and we also teach the Life Matters Sunday School class which consists of married couples with children (which we now call Life Development Classes) Anyway, we are praying for you and your church members to be abundantly blessed so that you can continue to bless others. As for us, you may pray for guidance and wisdom for our family. We also would love for you to pray along with us that God’s Holy Spitit engulfs the Sarasota/Manatee community so that eyes and hearts will be opened and ears will be prepared to hear the Good News ! Many Blessings to you and your prayer warriors at New Life. Thank you so very much for your prayers and intrest in our family.
Direct Giving Through Your Bank
You can give donations to New Life online.

There should be no fees for you or for New Life. If you are setup to give the church $200 for example, the church will receive the full $200 from your bank.
Please know, that New Life, is truly blessed by your faithful giving.
To the world you may be one person – but to one person you may be the world.
